Day 1: Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park (7 hours)
Begin your journey with a transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, renowned for its tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a scenic stop at the Equator before continuing through the volcanic landscapes of the Western Rift Valley. As you descend, take in the breathtaking views of Lakes George and Edward set against the game-rich plains. Arrive at the park and embark on an evening game drive. Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Start your day with an early morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth’s diverse ecosystem, which includes grassy plains, tropical forests, rivers, swamps, and volcanic craters. Spot a variety of wildlife such as lions, leopards, giant forest hogs, Cape buffaloes, elephants, waterbucks, Uganda kob, topi, and bushbuck. The park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, boasting over 600 species. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then enjoy an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This cruise offers excellent opportunities for photography and wildlife viewing, including vibrant birdlife. Relish a sundowner drink while soaking in the scenic beauty before heading back to Marafiki Safari Lodge for dinner and another overnight stay. (B.L.D)
Day 3: Queen Elizabeth to Kampala (7 hours)
On your final day, choose between an early morning hot air balloon safari for a stunning aerial view of the savannah and wildlife, followed by a delightful champagne breakfast, or an early morning chimpanzee tracking adventure in Kyambura Gorge. After your chosen activity, return to Kampala.
