This 7 Days Primate Safari in Uganda includes a number of exciting adventure activities worth enjoying on your visit in Uganda. Some of the activities you will enjoy during these 7 days include: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi, Chimpanzee Tracking Kibale, & Golden Monkeys Mgahinga Forest.
Day 1 – Arrival
Our guide will meet you at the aiport and transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe for Overnight at The Boma Guest Hotel Entebbe. B.B
Day 2 – Transfer to Kibale
Early morning you will have breakfast and then begin on the journey to the beautiful Fort port town having lunch along the way in Masindi. Although long, this journey is very rewarding with beautiful views of Uganda’s countryside mainly comprised of farmlands and traditional homesteads. In the evening, you will arrive in Fort Portal and then check into your accommodation in Kibale Forest National park and after lunch you will go bigodi nature walk. Return to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight at Papaya Lake Lodge. B.L.D
Day 3 – Chimp tracking and Transfer to Bwindi National Park
Today morning we shall enjoy another highlight activity on this safari as you enter into the Kibale forest to track. However you will begin following the forest paths, you will come across a number of other primates other than chimpanzees such as L’hoest Red-Tailed Monkeys, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Black & White Colobus Monkeys and vervet monkeys among others.Dinner and Overnight at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge .B.L.D
Day 4 – Gorilla Trekking & Pygmies Tour
Very early in the morning, have a quick breakfast at your lodge, then go to the park headquarters for briefing before setting out into the dense forest as you looking the mountain gorillas. This activity normally begins by 8:00am and necessitates carrying some drinking water, a packed lunch, wearing strong hiking boots, and a hiking stick. Once you find the gorillas you will be allowed to spend an hour in the presences taking photos and observing them. In the evening you will have a community walk and meet the Batwa (pygmies) for another cultural adventure.Dinner and Overnight at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge .B.L.D
Day 5 – Bwindi- Kisoro
You will have breakfast at your lodge, after check out and then begin your ride to Kisoro town. In the evening you will visit the Batwa (pygmies) in Mgahinga Forest. Spend some hours with them in the forest and retun to the lodge for Dinner and Ovrenight at Gaihinga Lodge .B.L.D
Day 6 – Golden Monkey Tracking
Wake up to another exiting traking adventure, golden monkey. At 8:00Am you will attend briefing at Gahinga briefing point and then enter the forest to track the rare Golden monkeys. You will encounter other primate species as vervet monkeys, baboons, and a variety of bird species and butterflies and return to the lodge for lunch. Free evening to connect with the local people in Kisoro. Dinner and Ovrenight at Gaihinga Lodge .B.L.D
Day 7 – Fly out- Entebbe
Early morning breakfast and our guide will drive to Kisoro airstrip to catch your flight to Entebbe Internatonal aiport. You will arrive in Entebbe at 11:00AM and depensing on your flight, you wait for your next flight at the aiport or join our guide for Entebbe town tour. Later you will be transferred to the airport for departure.
