Day 1 – Arrival and transfer to your hotel in Entebbe

You will be picked up from Entebbe International airport by your driver guide and transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. You will check into your hotel and later he will brief you about the the rest of your safari adventure. Overnight at Protea Hotel Entebbe- B.B

Day 2 – Transfer to Kibale National Park

After a morning breakfast, you will drive to Fort portal town with lunch en route in Hoima. The journey will reward you with spectacular views of the magnificent scenery as you drive through the traditional homesteads and farms on your way to Kibale. Reach Fort Portal in the evening and then proceed to Kibale Forest National Park. Check in your hotel and go for Bigodi nature walk. Return to the hotel for Dinner & Overnight at Kibale Guest Cottages Lodge- B.L.D

Day 3 – Chimp tracking

Early rise for breakfast at your lodge, you will go for the lifetime Chimpanzee tracking adventure in Kibale forest. You will report at the Park Headquarters for a briefing by UWA official and then later go for the morning chimpanzee tracking experience. You will penetrate into the forest under the guidance of an armed ranger for the tracking.  Besides the chimps, you may spot other primates and these include: Varvet Monkey, L’hoest, Blue Monkey, Red-Tailed Monkey, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Black and White Colobus Monkey and many more. Return back to the lodge for Lunch and later drive off to Semuliki national park. On arrival, visit the amazing Sempaya hot springs, tea plantations, and Batwa communities. Check in your hotel, have an early dinner and later go for a game drive in the park that offers fantastic views encountering game like buffalo, elephant and hyena. Dinner and overnight at Semuliki Safari lodge. Day 4 – Semuliki National park – Queen Elizabeth national Park

After breakfast, depart with en route game viewing yet another scenic place where one can see plenty of Uganda kob, buffalo, hippos and various bird species that include African Piculet, Piapiac, Zenker’s honey guide, Blue-Breasted Bee-Eater, Capuchin babbler and Spot-breasted ibis. Embark on an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Albert that avails a chance to see the rare shoebill stork. Day 5 – Queen Elizabeth – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Early morning drive to Bwindi through Ishasha section of Queen Elizabeth with a chance to have a glimpse of the famous tree-climbing lions. Arrive in the evening, check in have dinner and get ready for your gorilla adventure the following day. Dinner and Overnight at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge. B.L.D

Day 6 – Gorilla Trekking – Community Tour

Today wakeup early for a quick breakfast and head out for briefing from the guides, set off for the gorilla tracking in the impenetrable forest. All travelers should be assembled at the briefing point by 8.00am. You need to carry packed lunch, drinking water, rain jacket and walking stick will be provided. After briefing, enter the forest to track gorillas, the time taken to find the magnificent primates is unpredictable since it depends on when the gorillas where last seen. If time permits take an afternoon community walk before retiring for dinner at your lodge.Dinner and Overnight at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge. B.L.D

Day 7 – Bwindi – Mgahinga

Breakfast very early and hit the road back to Mgahinga national park Kisoro side. Arrive early morning and check in your lodge. Have lunch and in the evening you will go for Batwa (pygmies) cultural tour in the forest. Dinner and Overnight at Ichumbi Hotel Kisoro- B.L.D

Day 8 – Gorilla Trekking

You didn’t get it enough? Today is another day to face the mountain gorillas in a different forest. After breakfast, proceed for the morning briefing at the park headquarters. You will be grouped in your specific groups by the ranger and then trek through the rainforest and bamboo covered slopes, accompanied by a guide and trackers, in search of a mountain gorilla family. The walking can sometimes be tough and long, but when you catch a glimpse of the magnificent silverback, any discomforts will be quickly forgotten. When sighted, visitors will be guided to within 6 meters from the gorillas, sit around them for one hour. Return to the lode for Dinner and Overnight at Ichumbi Hotel Kisoro- B.L.D

Day 9 – Golden Monkey Tracking

After breakfast transfer to the Mgahinga National Park headquarters for briefing and later begin the hike over the volcanic terrain in search for Golden Monkeys in the bamboo forests. Mgahinga National Park shares boarders with Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda and Virunga National Park in DR Congo. The park is also the most scenic as it stands at three volcanoes of Muhavura, Gahinga and Sabyinyo. Once with the golden monkeys, you will have about an hour to take as many pictures as you want and then return to the lodge for a lunch. After you will transfer to Mabarara for Dinner and Overnight at Ichumbi Hotel Kisoro- B.L.D

Day 10 – Departure

After breakfast, you will hit the road back to Kampala with a stopover at the equator. You will arrive in Kampala and visit some of the various African craft markets. Depending on your flight schedule, our guide will drop you off to the airport.
