Rates for a permit differ based on the resident status of the visitor. The three categories are:
1.Non-residents
Foreign resident of Uganda/East African resident (with proof of a two years immigration entry permit in the passport)
Ugandan, Rwandan or Congolese citizens

Non- Resident $600 Per permit
East African Resdient $500 per permit
Ugandan Citizens UGX 250,000
Gorilla Permits Price per person- Rwanda
Non- Resident $1500 Per permit
Gorilla Permits Price per person- Congo
Non- Resident $500 Per permit
East African Resdient $400 per permit
Congolese Citizens $150
